What's so great about it all!
Well, I did receive the SECOND Nintendo DS that I bought. Luckily from someone honest this time. Started playing BRAIN AGE and feeling brighter already! Hopefully I will get my money back through PAYPAL (at least) for the first one! We'll see! A claim takes about two months - it will be interesting to see what happens. By that time - my brain will be so alert and hopefully my BRAIN AGE will go down from 80! It's fun though and interesting.
I'm sending off the Pink Prada shoes today. They came back to me yesterday - marked UNCLAIMED! My sweet postmaster called me first thing in the morning to tell me they were there. They will take their second trip to CANADA today. This time I hope that they will get where they are going.
But to get to what I'm writing about today......
I have a few pairs of these wonderful RUNDHOLZ (from Germany) shoes listed. They are left from the store - we're closed for the next two months and I have lots of great things still left to list. Rundholz is a great company - we do so well with their clothing, shoes and boots. The women love the comfort and design of their clothing.
Anyway - I have sizes 8 and 10 of these great shoes listed and someone really wanted them - but she wears a size 9! I understand - you can get addicted to great and interesting design. Well, this gal was so intent on getting these shoes that she thought that perhaps she would just buy the size 10! But I know that they would be tooo big for her - I wear the same size and the 9 is perfect - the 10 would be huge.
I have so much in my closet - shoes, bags, clothes - that I offered up my size 9's! She was so happy and bid on them immediately.
This is it - this is what is so fun about eBay. How would this gal and I (is it I or me? - something my brother-in-law is always correcting) ever find each other without eBay? How would my wonderful shoes (not to worry they are in fabulous condition - I didn't wear them all that much - they are like new) have a chance to wind up in her closet?
It's like the time my CHANEL bowling bag (that was just not for me) wound up in Japan with someone who was so excited to get it. Sometimes it's so hard to send something of my own to someone - even though I don't use it - I love it so much - but I have decided that it's a shame to have such lovely things languishing on the shelf - they must be used and loved. I sent off a fabulous woven little handbag two weeks ago - I actually wished it a good trip. But now it's in better hands - someone who will love it and use it and hopefully wear it out! We all have wonderful things in our closets that are just not getting used - they should be moved on. It's interesting how the things that we might not use anymore - someone else will love and adore and for them it will be totally new!
Well, I enjoyed these shoes and would have continued to wear them, but I know that this gal will love them EVEN MORE and that makes me happy!
