Interesting........

The first CHANEL belt/necklace was sold yesterday. It did very well as far as $$$ went. The interesting thing though is that it was purchased by a company that does PR for EBAY! They are also interested in the ROBERT LEE MORRIS bracelet that is still up.

Both pieces are vintage and really good items. I believe that they will be used (assuming that they will win the bracelet too) in media for EBAY.









Their GOAL - "to attract new and current eBay users to all of eBay's $1 billion business units."

Their PROGRAM - "Create an alliance with media to advance eBay's image from an on-line flea market into the first - and easiest - place to ship for all consumer and business needs: whether paper clips,new designer "musts", or the rarest collectibles."

So let's keep our eyes out - if you see a media campaign that will include these items, let me know. Certainly they are smart - that CHANEL belt/necklace is fabulous and a great steal. I wonder who will eventually wind up with it. Do you think when they are finished with it that they will sell it on eBay?
