I'm sorry............

Time just goes by toooo fast! I really enjoy writing the blog - but there doesn't seem to be enough time. I was busy most of February in New York City buying for next fall. A scary thing in this economy. Are people going to be buying? Buying expensive sweaters, coats, pants, shoes, bags? I hope so - we want to see things get better and what better way than to be buying beautiful things. We found some great great things for the store and now I can't wait for next winter! Ugh - not really - this winter's snow is finally melting and it really seems like spring might be on the way.

Let's start with getting back to the store and getting into all of the boxes of the brand new spring merchandise. What fun that is! All of the merchandise comes in at the same time - and the store is filled with huge boxes filled with fabulous clothing. No matter what the economy, I know that our wonderful ladies will be there - we've been closed for two months and we all can't wait to see the new clothing. Yay!

So that was February - after that - eBay - dealing with everything. When I'm busy in New York things go wrong with eBay - ie the two bags that I managed to get switched! I hate that - I try to be so careful but things do happen when you're sending out so many things......my eBayers though - they are great! Overall, most are so nice. They will each send each other the right bag. How about the gorgeous Hermes scarf - It was paid for and I wrapped and packed it carefully - all of these scarves are so beautiful. I had already been to the post office and was just feeling so tired that I decided it would wait until the next day. Two packages on the counter ready for the post office. Next thing I know I look at the counter and see the water all over...........hmmm.......where is that water coming from? THE ROOF! Yes, the roof - the ice is melting and coming through the cabinets onto the counter! Can you believe it! I freaked - grabbed the package with the scarf and ripped it open. Two of the tiniest water stains right down the middle - I could not believe my eyes! What to do? What to do? I looked online and found the name of a cleaner in New York City called Tiecrafters on 29th and 8th. Then I called Hermes and asked who they recommended - yes, Tiecrafters. So Monday I went into the city and brought them the scarf. Won't go into all of the details (nothing is simple) but the scarf will go out to the gal today - she bought it as a birthday present for herself - and hopefully all will be well! What do you think they charge to clean a scarf? $25! It had better be perfect!
This is my eBay - you think it is simple? Always something.....but you know - that's what I love about it - it keeps me on my toes! Better than ballet! Bad joke!
So many other things have happened, but that's it for now.
I will really try to keep this going - I enjoy it and it seems you do too as people tell me they miss it when I'm not writing.
Thanks for that!
Now it's time to start listing on eBay!
